OUR STORY
What Sets Us Apart
Frederick Matusky, an old-school HVAC construction guy and steam fitter, founded Flo-Tron with his wife Patricia in 1985. Initially, the company provided HVAC services and process piping for the construction industry. Fred grew the team to 20 by the time he retired in 2013. He sold the company to his son, Spencer, who had a vision for expansion.
Since then, the team has grown from 20 to 90 employees to support Flo-Tron’s evolution into a full-service mechanical contractor with design-build capabilities, a rare combination in this industry. We have the staff and resources to serve a wide range of commercial clients, from local property managers to global brands.
Despite significant growth, the family values instilled by Fred Matusky still shine through in everything we do. Responding quickly to customers. A problem-solving mindset.
